Sure...But What Does "Subdue" Mean?
Sunday, May 19th
As we come to the next to last sermon in the worldview series, we now turn our attention to how our worldview affects how we view, use and produce art, literature, medicine, etc. Indeed, a comprehensive Christian worldview can offer a foundation for looking at all of life and putting our part in proper perspective.
Politics for Christians
Sunday, May 12th
We all live in networks of power. But there is One to whom we owe absolute obedience!
A Christian View of Leisure
Sunday, May 5th
What place does leisure play in a Christian worldview? Are we doing something wrong when we play or when we lay in the hammock and read a good novel? Do we feel guilty if we are not doing something every minute of every day? How can a decision to focus exclusively on the Kingdom of God first be lived out without burning out? Does God want us to be workaholics for Christ? Can rest become a main ingredient of a life lived in the power of the Spirit of the Messiah? What does Sabbath mean?
A Christian View of Human Nature
Sunday, April 28th
As we develop a Christian world-view, we must wrestle with the question: How do we view human nature? We will explore the scriptural witness regarding what it means to both be made in the image of God and to be fallen and redeemed.
